Covid-19 Update From Pastor Steve Kelly

Dear Wave Family,

In light of President Trump’s address, the recommendations of Gov. Northam and other local and state officials we will be hosting our Sunday Services ONLINE this weekend for all our campuses.

The suspension of our public gathering is not due to alarm; rather it is an effort to take wise and responsible measures and show a loving and caring response to our neighbors. Gathering together has always been one of the Church’s great gifts in challenging times and while we can’t gather together tomorrow face to face, we can gather together online. This serves as a great chance to invite your friends and family to watch and experience one of our services.

Our service will include live praise and worship from Great Neck, live preaching and will include all of our Campus Pastors from the 757 area. Additionally, we will take time in our service tomorrow to pray for all those impacted by the current situation across the world, our nation, and our communities.

You can join us online at or on Facebook Live at 9 AM, 11 AM, or 5 PM. What about any financial giving since we won’t be together? Your giving is important and needed, so we would encourage you to use our online giving platform or text-to-give by texting “waveGN,” “waveSB,” “waveORF,” “waveRVA,” “waveDT” to 77977 depending on your campus location.

Finally, let’s believe the Church and the name of Jesus will shine bright during these days in our nation. I leave you today with the words of Jesus from John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”

With love,
Steve & Sharon Kelly
