Our children’s ministry ranges from<\/h3>

9 Months – 5th Grade<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>

Our children\u2019s ministry teams are excited to spend time playing games, reading Bible stories, and leading music time with your child.\u00a0We use these interactive activities, games, crafts, and songs to help the children apply leadership and Biblical lessons to their everyday lives.<\/p>

Children in 6th-12th grade can attend our youth program,

Safety & Security<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>

OF OUR CHILDREN’S MINISTRY<\/span><\/h3><\/div>

As a parent\/guardian, we want you to feel confident about the safety of your child while you are here at Wave Church.\u00a0<\/span>We have the most vibrant volunteers in our program and prior to serving, all our Wave Kids Team Volunteers are carefully screened, trained and undergo a state and federal background check.<\/span><\/p>

Additionally, every child infant-5th grade is checked-in prior to service and has a Name Tag with an alpha numeric ID#.\u00a0<\/span>Parents receive a check-out tag with the corresponding ID# which must be presented at the time of check-out. This will ensure that the right child is leaving with the correct parent\/guardian.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

BOOGIE BOARDERS<\/strong>\u00a0(PreK\u2014K)<\/em><\/h3>

Preschool age children are constantly moving, touching, and investigating. They learn through experiences, imitation, and repetition. Because children\u2019s moral development begins to form at an early age, we implement the Orange curriculum. Orange uses animated videos to teach Bible lessons in a fun and creative way. In addition, our Kid\u2019s Team utilizes interactive activities, games, crafts, and songs to help the children apply the leadership lesson to their lives.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

SURF CLUB<\/span> <\/strong>(Grades 1<\/em>\u20145<\/em>)<\/em><\/h3>\n

Our elementary class combines high-energy activities with Bible-based teaching for boys and girls in the 1st through 5th grades. A combination of games, Orange curriculum and fun songs capture kids\u2019 attention while showing them that living for God is the best thing out there. <\/p>

LIFEGUARDS<\/strong>\u00a0(Grades 4-5)<\/em><\/h3>

Children in 4th and 5th grades are starting a new journey in their spiritual lives. As preteens, they are beginning to ask questions about their faith and what they have learned in the Bible. In our 4th and 5th grade ministry, we desire to show these children how the Bible applies to their daily lives at school, with friends, and in their families. During their time in our Lifeguard Training Program, we want 4th and 5th graders to discover 3 things:<\/p>

Jesus<\/strong> \u2013 We strive to help 4th and 5th graders understand how to have an authentic relationship with Jesus through prayer, worship, and Bible study.<\/em><\/p>

Faith<\/strong> \u2013 We desire to lead 4th and 5th graders to realize how their relationship with Jesus intersects their daily lives.<\/em><\/p>
