Day 16 – Devoted Daily Devotional

DAY 16
Devotional by Brooke Kelly

Want to know the best thing about Devoted Conference? That freedom is found every single year. That despite our different stories, backgrounds, joys, hardships, and seasons of life, God issues freedom to us all in a singular way as we corporately come together to worship Him. That’s the goodness of God. And that’s why I love Pastor Sharon’s selected theme for Devoted Conference – “It’s For Freedom.”

Women receive freedom from past hurts or losses, freedom from self-doubt or crippling anxiety. If you identify with any of the above, please know that you are not alone! As big as God is, He cares for and sees every one of us and wants to meet us in that “low place.” We know Jesus to be our “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6 NIV).” We are expectant for heaviness to be lifted and the Spirit of God to provide peace and a new confidence for you this year. We pray that you will be equipped with Godly messages and Scripture to navigate all that is ahead!

Some women receive freedom in healing and learning a direction forward. Perhaps you are living in a blessed season – we are so happy for you! Why not believe for God to open new doors? We pray you will go deeper in your relationship with God and hear from Him like never before! Dream big, pray BIG!

And for some, the best freedom, the freedom of salvation. I encourage you to pray, believe, invite, and BRING the women in your world who do not yet know Jesus. Devoted Conference is a great opportunity to reach out to our loved ones, peers, and neighbors!

Whatever the situation, when we come to the end of ourselves, we meet God and He never disappoints.

2 Corinthians 3:17 NLT
For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

The Bible teaches us that where two or more are gathered to worship and celebrate Jesus, His Spirit will be there (Matthew 18:20 NIV). So, I ask you:

Where in your life would you ask God to further freedom in your life?

Who can you pray for and believe to also receive freedom?

Wonderful woman, we are here for you and are believing that God will answer that prayer, provide that healing, empower that decision.

I’m already looking forward to hearing the stories of what God does in and through the lives of the women of this year’s Devoted Conference and can’t wait to see you there!
