Day 7

February 7, 2016

BE Devoted

Devoted is one of my favorite conferences and there are so many things that I love about it.  I love how God turns up throughout the conference, watching the sea of women singing their lungs out in Praise & Worship, hearing inspiring Words from our very own Ps Sharon Kelly and Guest Speakers, making new friends, having FUN with the girlies, seeing the AMAZING Volunteers ready to serve you Lovelies and I can go on and on, but you know I can’t leave out shopping for Devoted Apparel/Resource.

As you can tell I pretty much LOVE anything and everything DEVOTED; however, I do have to admit that the last night of Conference is my favorite night.  Of course I never want Conference to come to an end, but because we get to bless a couple of incredible women through the DEVOTED FOUNDATION, it is definitely the highlight of my weekend.  Even though this is the time I break out the tissues and there may not be a dry eye in the House, I love that in the midst of Conference that not only have we been blessed, but each of us have an opportunity to sow into other women through Devoted Foundation. This saying is TRUE “Teamwork makes the Dream work” what we do collectively can really make a difference and we can live out Romans 12:10 NIV “BE Devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”  I love that I got to BE a part of blessing these women and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing how grateful each woman has been!

My prayer is that not only will you come ready to receive what God has in store specifically for your life, but that OTHERS will come expectant as well.

Philippians 2:4 NLT “Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for your goodness, your faithfulness and favor over my life.  Help me Father, to always take interest in others by inviting and bringing people to church.  Provide ways for me to live generously, so I can be a blessing to others.  I Love You, Lord.  In Jesus Name, I pray, AMEN.

Lainie Williams
