Join us as a church as we spend 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting together. Over these 21 days, we are going to be seeking God together and growing in our relationship with Jesus. We will be praying and believing to see miracles take place.

WHY DO WE PRAY?

We believe in the power of prayer and fasting as a practice to build deeper relationship with God. As we draw near to God, we find ourselves aligned with His heart and good plans for us.

WHY DO WE FAST?

The goal of fasting is to draw nearer to God. Biblical fasting always has to do with eliminating distractions for a spiritual purpose; it hits the reset button of our soul and renews us from the inside out. It also enables us to celebrate the goodness and mercy of God and prepares our hearts for all the good things God desires to bring into our lives. Remember, your personal fast should present a level of challenge, but it is very important to know your body, your options, and, most importantly, to seek God in prayer and follow what the Holy Spirit leads you to do.

    • Nehemiah 9:1-3

HOW DO WE JOIN IN THE 21 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING?

  1. Read your Bible for 15 minutes every morning before anything else. 
    • You can also join us in a devotional found on YouVersion – HERE
    • Kid’s version of the devotional found HERE.
  2. Pray for 15 minutes every morning
    • Here’s an amazing app that provides guided prayers if you want some help – CLICK HERE
  3. Spend time in worship, whether it’s 15 minutes set aside in your day, or on your commute to work in the mornings. 
    • Here is a great playlist curated by Spotify you are welcome to utilize: HERE 
  4. Choose what you are going to fast, or join us as a church in fasting these 3 things each week:
    • WEEK 1: Social Media Fast
    • WEEK 2: Extras Fast (i.e. something that is a vice to you like caffeine, sweets, alcohol, etc.)
    • WEEK 3: Full Fast
      • Decide what works best for you during this week. Here are some options:
        • 1 Meal a day 
        • 1 Full Day 
        • 3 Full Days 
        • 7 Full Days
