Wave City Care has one mission: to educate, equip, and empower the community one life at a time. How do we do this? Through a variety of opportunities and partnerships throughout our city.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Through Wave City Care, Wave Church reaches out to bless our community every year. We believe God has placed us in our city for our city. We’ve partnered with women’s shelters, health clinics, soup kitchens, and families in need all throughout our community and there’s still so much to do. Whether its providing Thanksgiving dinners, or surprising a family with Christmas presents, Wave City Care is determined to be the answer wherever our community has need.

Each month we have the opportunity to bless our community through our partnership with Liberation Vets Services in Downtown Richmond. Every 3rd Wednesday, with your help, our church provides a meal for homeless vets in our city. Sign up to contribute to this worthy cause.

Lamb's Basket

Lambs Basket is a food pantry in Henrico county that provides food to families in need. At our Glen Allen campus, we have a drop-off container where we collect non-perishable foods to take them to the pantry monthly. Additionally, we have the opportunity to help out with stocking shelves and helping visitors fill their baskets with food.

School Partnerships

We love showing support and appreciation to the teachers and students at our partnership schools. Through school makeovers, teacher appreciation baskets, and our annual holiday programs which provide food and toys for Thanksgiving and Christmas, we care for our schools year-round.

SHINE GIRL

Every young girl needs to know that they have strength, worth and purpose! ShineGIRLis a personal development program with an inspirational, practical and experiential approach to learning. Our goal is for each girl to realize the potential within her to fulfill her desires.

ManPower

Guys need men around them to show them what being a man really looks like in an everyday practical way. ManPOWER encourages youth to challenge their current definition of the ideal man and contemplate what true qualities a respectful, mature adult male should possess.
