DETAILS:
We will be collecting items for the Liberation Veterans facility and creating hygiene bags for the 30 residents who live at the facility (see below for list of items needed).
Saturday, September 14 Agenda:
- Meet at the Glen Allen Campus at 1:00 PM to drop off our donations.
- We will then carpool together to the Virginia War Memorial where we will have a guided tour of the facility and then be free to explore the museum areas.
- Directly afterwards, we plan to head on down to Sweet Spot Ice Cream Cafe for a sweet treat and coffee (6 N. 18th Street, Richmond, VA 23223)
Items needed for the residents (need total of 30 of each):
- Tooth paste
- Toothbrushes
- Deodorant
- Mouthwash
- Dental floss
- Combs
- Chlorox wipes
- Hand sanitizer
Items needed for the facility:
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Pine Sol/Bleach
- 55 gallon trash bags
- Laundry detergent
- Dishwashing detergent

- Bathroom cleaner

Hey girls of all ages, let’s gather together (outside on the church patio) for some fun social time, along with a time of encouraging each other. Join us as we dive into what it looks like to savor each day, whatever it holds: work and play, coffee and kids, meals and prayers, the good stuff, and the hard stuff. Life is all about relationships, and your daily relationship with God is worth savoring in every moment. Wisdom comes at all ages and is imparted by God to help us personally and build up others in our circles. Come hang out, make new friends, connect and create greater depth as a company of women.

Every month we have the opportunity to prepare a home-cooked dinner for Liberation Veteran Services — a shelter offering homeless veterans the care, resources, and stability needed to rebuild their lives. We also have the opportunity for 4-6 volunteers to serve the meal in-person and join the veterans in fellowship — sign up today to contribute food donations and/or serve!
This is a great opportunity to give back to those who’ve given so much in service for us.

For all the men of Wave Church, join us for our Men’s Community Group with Pastor Steve during our summer semester! Each week we will hear from Pastor Steve as we go through the book “The Way to Win” by Jeff Little and taking time to discuss in groups.
