Devotional by Ps Sharon Kelly
Throughout the coming ages we will be the visible display of the infinite, limitless riches of his grace and kindness, which was showered upon us in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:7 TPT
I cannot believe we are one month out from Wave Conference 2019. Every time I think about it I am filled with excitement and anticipation. I just know God is wanting to do a new thing in our hearts and lives, and when we take a few days out of our schedule to worship, praise, learn, lean in, gather together and pray, something shifts. Something shifts in us, but also something shifts in our churches and communities. Whenever we encounter God in a powerful and fresh way, our hearts are illuminated and our minds become clearer to the ways of God.
I have been reminded lately how easy it is to say I trust God, but the practical out-working of that, when things don’t turn out the way I want, or when prayers are answered differently, or even if it just feels like a long hard season, can be very tough. That’s why we all need to be reminded that this amazing God, His son Jesus, and the wonderful Holy Spirit are always available to us. God is limitless. Limitless in His love, limitless in His wonder, limitless in His power at work in us. He is everywhere, and yet so available to you. He is God the Creator of the universe, and our personal savior. He is our hope.
May we be changed in His presence, sitting under the word, in fellowship with one another. May we be compelled to live the God-story in our lives, more fully understanding we display Jesus in our everyday lives. May the world be better for us having gathered under the name that is above every name. These are some of the things I’m praying. And may we never lose the awe and wonder of who He is. A Holy God who loves being present with his people.
WE love you dearly and cant wait to see you all!!!
