It’s For Freedom

Hello beautiful,
Can you believe we are only 4 weeks out from Devoted? Gosh I feel like jumping up and down with excitement! I am so grateful to God that He has trusted us with this beautiful gathering of women. Women of every age, background, race and status.
I know I’ve said it over and over again and at the expense of sounding like a broken record, (as we used to say back in the day when we had records ha!), may I remind us all that God saw the building at Wave’s Great Neck campus filled with women before we had even finished building it. Wow! It gives me chills every time I think about it. And girls this is just the beginning – who knows all that God wants to do! So can I ask us not to be complacent, or allow negative or critical thoughts to be a part of our dialogue and thinking over the next month in our lead up to Devoted Conference. May we steward carefully the gift that Devoted is to us all, and with prayer lets cover every aspect of this Conference. We will be having 3 prayer meetings at our Great Neck Campus on the following dates February 7, February 12 and February 21. Each of these will commence at 7pm. Can I ask you if you are able to attend please make these a priority! I am convinced that God wants to do more than we could ever think or imagine, but it takes a company of women who are united in heart, seeking Jesus and asking for His “will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.” We do live in crazy times, but Jesus is not shocked by any of it, He is just looking for people with hearts after Him and I know for sure that our Devoted girls are those kind of people. Man I am getting more and more stirred as I type – I honestly think we are on the precipice of a fresh move of God that will be powerful, beautiful and life-defining for us all.
My hearts desire is to see Gods girls live in the freedom afforded to them. The freedom that Christ paid for. He knew we needed saving and He gave His all that we might live. Truly live. May every woman leave with a peace, certainty and determination to always live in this freedom. A freedom that keeps our spirit light and free of drama and entanglements, a freedom that keeps a skip in our step, a freedom that lights up our soul, a freedom that puts a sparkle in our eye, and a smile on our face that radiates from within.
I am so pumped I can hardly contain it. Lets agree to be in prayer and fasting over this next month and seek God with everything within us so that each and every woman is deeply impacted. I know families, communities and our world will be different because of it. And I can hardly wait!

Dear Lord Jesus
Thank you for entrusting us with the gift of Devoted. We pray for every woman attending. We know that you write the most beautiful stories with our lives, and our prayer is that each woman would know how loved, beautiful, and amazing she is. That she doesn’t ever have to feel shame or guilt for living in freedom, because that’s your desire and hope for her. We love you Lord and we are so so expectant and ready for You to move powerfully in our midst and change us deep within. AMEN.
