Devoted Conference is unlike anything I have experienced. There truly is something powerful about God’s daughters gathering to worship and seek our Heavenly Father. I believe we please the heart of God when we gather at Devoted Conference each year! There are so many amazing elements such as the after parties, creative items and dynamic speakers. However, beyond all of it there is one thing that I look forward to each year: hearing from God. I honestly cannot remember a Devoted Conference where I haven’t heard God speak to me. The divine moments of hearing God’s voice during Devoted have never shown themselves to be ordinary. Rather, they have been foundational. His words spoken to me at Devoted have carried me through the seasons of life.
I love that God speaks to us. In His goodness, His sweet soft voice brings comfort, encouragement and inspiration. I believe that God wants to speak to us girls this year at Devoted Conference. He wants to speak His truth and His words into our hearts and minds so that we can ‘shine our light’ for His name. There will be women from all over with different backgrounds, experiences and strengths coming together. Each woman carries their own story full of victories and struggles. In a room of many God speaks to the one.
Let’s believe together that God would not only speak to us, but would encourage the girls around us. Let’s pray that what is spoken would heal, restore and inspire the hearts of every woman.
“Father, we thank you for who you are. Thank you for being a God that speaks to your daughters. We ask that you would speak to each and every woman at Devoted Conference. That the words they hear from you would be foundational for the season that you have them in. We pray that you would heal, restore and inspire and that women would leave changed full of hope. In Jesus name, Amen.”
