Wave Conference Devotional – Day 30

I am always excited for Wave Summit and Conference every year. What builds the most excitement in my heart is the EXPECTATION of what God will do IN us through others, and what God will even do THROUGH us as we make ourselves available to new people and those who are finding where they “fit” in ministry relationships.

I love this year’s theme…LIMITLESS.  Ephesians 1:19 speaks of the “…Unlimited Greatness of God’s Power for us who believe.”  When we allow ourselves to dwell for just a few moments on just how “limitless” God’s Power is, we realize that absolutely nothing is beyond God’s Ability to provide, heal, and set free.  His Power is available in “unlimited” supply for every need!  After all, 2 Peter 1:3 tells us that God’s Divine Power has given to us ALL THINGS that pertain to life and godliness!

So…if all of this Power is available in limitless supply to each of us as well as those we are privileged to minister to, how can we put ourselves in position to actually increase what we receive? After all, the Power of God at Wave Conference is always THERE. Available. In abundance. From the Speakers. From the Worship. “Waves” of it!

I personally believe that the only thing that could hold us back from receiving all that’s possible from God’s LIMITLESS supply is our EXPECTATION…what we EXPECT to receive, and what we EXPECT others to receive from us as we take advantage of this awesome opportunity to serve. Expectation is a powerful force that can catapult us into the Fullness Of God, OR can hold us back if we expect too little.

Every year at Wave Conference, we expect it to be a busy time, we expect a great attendance, and we expect the speakers to be good. But let’s go beyond expecting those things and also expect the LIMITLESS Power Of God to supernaturally impact lives like never before.  Let’s go beyond the cliche of “this will be the best conference yet” to actually EXPECTING manifestations of His LIMITLESS Power in us, and through us to others!
